DEi provided full structural engineering and site review services to the prime consultant, Allan Avis Architects, for this multi-phase restoration project of this historical facility. Our work included structural investigations of existing conditions to accommodate completely new mechanical and electrical systems, and interior arrangements. A new elevator tower, consistent with the historical stone façade and numerous interior renovations were included in the design work. Construction of the first phase was done in 2016-2017 with phase II work to continue in 2017. DEi provided total structural design and site review services for this project.
